London day 1
The last 40 hours have been a blur. Of course my sleeping pills did not let me sleep well on the plane and the lady next to me was going through menopause and fanning herself every 20 mins.... But I'm excited to be in London! After we found our way to monica's flat, we got ready to see the town. We went to the London eye, which is this huge ferris wheel that you can see a vast majority of the city on. After that we grabbed a bite and went to see the Royal Phil Harmonic at the Royal Albert Hall. They played all kinds of rock songs like "Bittersweet Symphony", "Fix You", "Stairway to Heaven", "Bohemian Rapsody", "Penny Lane", "Layla", and even a few Micael Jackson hits. It was FANTASTIC! It made me miss seeing my mom play her cello on stage. I'm pretty delirious right now and I have some sleeping pills calling my name. I'll post pictures soon! PS Thank you Monica for letting us crash at your flat.

Across the Big Pond I Go!
Ok, I'm excited and nervous for this trip. It's my first legit overseas plane ride. I'm equipped with sleeping pills and Xanax so I'm hoping for a drugged-up flight. I just bought this eReader that I'm so excited to use! If you don't have one yet, you need to get on it. So I leave tomorrow around 5pm with my lovely friend Emily and her mom. I'm so glad they let me jump onto their mother/daughter trip! Emily is a pro at traveling so I know I'm in good hands. Now, what do I need to pack? So far I have my toothbrush and floss. Wish me luck and I'll try to post updates as often as I can!
